Admin assistant
An assistant for a residential builder in the United States that files email attachments into Dropbox and manages tasks, all from the team’s inbox.
The problem
Routine office admin, such as saving email attachments to the right folder and keeping the team’s to-do list current, takes time away from a small team. The goal was to take this work off the team without asking anyone to learn a new app.
What we built
An assistant that takes over a small company’s routine office admin and works entirely from the team’s existing email inbox.
- The team forwards an email with a short instruction in plain language.
- The assistant files the attachments into the right folder in the company’s Dropbox.
- It creates and manages tasks on the team’s to-do list.
- It learns the team’s shorthand over time.
It is built in Python (Flask) with PostgreSQL, and we deliver and support it remotely from Thailand.
